Inspiring Wall Art | May He Comfort You

$40.00$314.00

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.’

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NKJV

Cozy Wall Decor to Comfort You

A colorful reminder to let you know it’ll be alright

A comforting sight to behold – May He Comfort You, an original painting. This inspiring Christian art is a 16 x 20-inch gallery-wrapped canvas. It depicts comfort in times of conflict, warmth during cold nights.

It shows a woman wrapped in a colorful blanket, keeping her warm on a cold night. This is a representation of God’s love for us, an assurance that He is always there to comfort us at times when we need Him most.

Despite its simple design, May He comfort You is a painting that is full of meaning, deep but comforting. This one-of-a-kind masterpiece can bring warmth to a cold room, bringing comfort to the people around it. This artwork is proof that God is always around, wrapping us in His warm embrace as represented by the colorful blanket. Be comforted with this Christian-inspired art piece and feel God’s love as it fills your heart and warms your soul.

Inspiration behind this painting: 2021 has been a challenging year for many of us, whether we personally have battled health issues or maybe we’re currently still battling health issues and, or even loved ones that have been battling health issues are still battling them. Even now, maybe some of us who we’ve lost, loved ones. I know I’ve personally lost a dear uncle and a friend this past year, and it’s painful. And I miss them. I’ve talked to friends that are elderly, that haven’t gotten bond out of their homes as much, just because of, because of being high risk and battling, you know, different health issues.

And so I know it’s been lonely and isolating for a lot of people. Many of us have faced disappointments and have pushed aside plans or, you know, been creative in celebrating things. Whether there were weddings, birthday parties, retirement graduations, and many of us have faced disappointments whether through job loss or struggling to keep a business afloat. And we’ve had this mental fatigue from these ups and downs of our emotions. And first of all, I just want to say, I’m sorry if you’ve had these challenges these past year, and I want you to know that God sees you, whether you’re home, you’ve been home alone, that God sees you and he cares about you.

You’re not here, going unnoticed. He does see you. And that’s the inspiration behind this painting that he wants you to know that he cares. And I wanted to convey this cold dark night of those things, those disappointments or losses that we have faced. And I painted our hundred year old grandmother’s quilt that she made decades ago. And there’s something special about a grandmother’s quilt. That’s handmade with love. Each of those squares are made with care and with a pure love, there’s no manipulation, there’s no agenda. It’s just the sheer care of bringing comfort and warmth to a loved one.

And I feel like that’s like, God’s love for us that he wants to comfort you. If you’re open to it. I wanted to capture the vibrant colors in this quote. I almost feel like they tell a story of the different patterns of the different colors. And I also put the moonlight in there because it felt like on a cold dark night without the light,

we can just tend to focus on all the negative things, all the bad things that have happened. But in the light, we can see the vibrant colors. We can see the stories. We can see the blessings of this past year, right? That maybe have been overshadowed by those hardships that we face. But when we really look, we can see that there are actually a lot of good things that have happened in the past year. And so it’s my prayer for you in 2022, that you will have a better year. This year filled with love, filled with awe and wonder and peace and joy. And if you are still going through a hard time, maybe you’re still processing things. I pray that God would comfort you and that his love would bring healing to your heart.

That would eventually just turn into joy.
