I’m so glad you’re interested in working with me to create a special piece of artwork for your home or business. Here’s how the process typically works:
It’s important for my clients to measure the area they want to have their artwork. I will ask if you could take photos of the area or have me come and do a home visit where I may take photos of the space, measure and get a feel for the overall design aesthetic. During this time I am happy to work with your interior designer or builder to make sure the piece(s) fit into your overall design plan.
Once I understand what your desires are, in addition to the space availability and budget, I am then able to do a sketch or a thumbnail of the design for your approval to make sure we are on the same page.
This sketch or thumbnail is always a first draft and is the basis for beginning the project. Once the design and the timeframe for the project is approved, a 50% deposit is submitted by the client and I begin the work.
Throughout the process I photograph the work to update you how it is going. Once I am finished, I photograph the piece just to make sure you are happy with it. There are two options after this
1. If the artwork needs to be shipped, I will give you a quote based on the size and weight of the packaged artwork. I can also have the artwork crated to ensure its safe transport for a fee. I will request the balance owed before shipping the artwork
2. If you are located on O’ahu and have a requested a larger piece we can arrange for local delivery and installation and I would receive the balance owed at that time.

The price is estimated based on the square footage of the area and can range from $25-$35/square foot depending on the complexity of the project
There is a minimum fee if $3,000. This is basically to make it worth my time traveling and being away from my studio.
Additional fees may include, but are not limited to transportation, lodging & meals.
